Teknowledge Corp (TEKCD) just received a $15 million contract from the Dept of Defense for "formulation, development, and evolution for next generation architecture and associated infrastructure services as a foundation for information superiority. This contract will acquire, integrate, develop and improve important infrastructure services for the next generation internet iniative".
This was taken from a press release from The Defense Logistics Agency, dated Dec. 28, 1998. This is in addition to an earlier next generation internet contract announced in June that for for $12 million.
TEKCD is a great little company that has been profitable for the past 17 quarters and is in process of moving from OTC/bulletin board to NASDAQ listing. Good message board on TEKCD,here on SI and a better one on Raging Bull. Raging Bull under TEKC.
