And to anyone that wonders how far this company can go, the biggest factor not only in AOL, but YAHOO, AMAZON, and our partner, WORLDCOM, has been the management. It was more their ingenuity than anything else, to constantly grow the company, take it down different roads, make great acquisitions, and win against many odds. AOL even in 1997, was called a has been, and even the internet links like AOL were thought to soon to be history, and folks would go directly to the WEB. It took the management and their staff to make the product better, enough so as to go against all the naysayers. Thats why Warren Buffets philosophy can make fortunes. He depends on management to do the right thing, and even when they falter, he expects them to correct. I hope our management has the same qualities. We shall see. We can't predict much right now. All the doors are closed. I like to imagine a bunch of mad scientists behind FNTNs doors designing something that will shake the internet/intranet concepts up. |
