Hello Bill, I think the best thing for us to do is start over from the top... We get very protective of the Boards because we have had unpleasant experiences in the past... Sincere questions are ALWAYS welcome and encourage.. When we sense that the honesty level is not where it should be we react. Some times it's Richard who sounds the first alarm, some times it's Jerry and some times it Chan or Andy. The point is there will always be one of us guarding the Board. We have been together for a long time and have all worked very hard to build what we have here. It has become part of our lives and we hold on very tightly.. I may have jumped on you quickly without giving you the benefit of the doubt. For that I apologize... I am not here to fight with anyone. In fact, I am usually the last one to jump in.... You sound like a very intelligent person who could have a lot to offer. My goal here is to help as many people learn TA as I possible can. I know most will not trade the same exact way as I do and that's great. It's NOT the indicators we use or the systems we develop, it's the thinking we invoke... It's NOT the indicators and systems that make money, it's the PERSON using them that makes the money. Under all the code, scans, and Indicator talk lies the real secret to TA. Changing from an Investor to a Trader... Following Price and Volume instead of Uncle Joe or the Broker down the street. Example: StochRSI (14) gave a buy for GATE on 1/14/97 at $56.00. DNS gave a buy for GATE on 1/20/97 at $57.50.A few days later GATE is over $64.00..... This morning I hear on the radio that GATE announced exceptional earnings that blew away the estimates..... People who follow FA will say that it was the earnings that drove the stock up... Followers of TA will say it was the charts.... I personally don't care either way... All I know is that I bought a stock at 55 3/8 and after a week it's over 64..... Is it important that everyone now starts using StochRSI (14) or DNS or even my Home Page???? NO, that's NOT why any of us are here... What's important is that people start to see that TA DOES WORK and that THAY CAN DO IT TOO!! That's our only goal on there Boards..... I realize that I'm getting way off track here so please forgive me.... I just felt that we needed to clear up some of these points so every one would understand.... Bill, as far as I'm concerned I never read any post from you and we are starting from the beginning... I am here to help you if I can and I am sure you will help me the same way.... Deal????
