You might instead consider buying something
like the closed end funds HQL or HQH...they
were trading at a discount last time I checked,
and that would give you the diversity you are
looking for (Hambrecht and Quist Life Sciences
H&Q Healthcare).

I found out recently that Janus was starting a
Life Sciences fund too...do a word search on
Janus and you'll probably hit a few messages
I've posted on that recently.

If you are determined to choose big cap pharma
and big cap biotech, I would grab Chiron, Biogen,
and American Home Products...but I don't own
them. Not volatile enough for me:-)

regards,
Mike
