Well said, John. It bothers me more than I can say that so many people show such a complete lack of respect for the leader of their country. This cannot make us, as a people, look good in the eyes of other countries.

You can disagree with Clinton, you can dislike him or even hate him, but in my opinion, making crude jokes, obsessing over details of his sex life and promoting the idea of punishing him without due process is the same as spitting on the Constitution. We have the right to do any of these things, of course, (except punishing him without due process -- though we do have the right to promote the IDEA) but that doesn't mean we SHOULD. I firmly believe that I have the right to burn or trample on the American flag, but I will never do it -- because of a little thing known as DECENCY.
