thank you for your response!!! although i've been part-time day-trading for 1 1/2 years using schwab and dtn i am intimidated by this fancy realtick software and have not yet developed a real thorough understanding of level II. i have only been using levelII for about 3 weeks. that said, in watching level II and trading through schwab i never see mmy order up there on the levelII screen. i just got time and sales 3 weeks ago too. now i see trades going by all the time at my price but i'm not executed until thelast dog is out and you know the stock is going to go up higher. of course by then it is too late to change your order. even on nyse stocks they are slow in execution. i feel as if i have to switch brokers. i do about 20 trades per month. is this realtick going to take forever for me to learn? is there a lot of room for error getting started?
