penni, Gauguin, I've been tossing my keyboards under the shower massager for years. Mild soap, a copious spray of warm water, then finish up with the blow-dryer. Works for me! Has to! Nobody sells sensible keyboards anymore. By sensible, I mean the ones with the function keys down the left side rather than across the top.

I guess I should add that I take the keyboards apart before dousing them and put them back together only after they are thoroughly dry.
