Hi Christopher!

We called AOL several times. We followed their instructions. Yet, our Netscape Browser will not work with AOL. So we had to install MSFT Browser.

Now I think I know why our Netscape Browser will not work.

I found the following article in The New York Times. Microsoft's has pacts with America Online and other Internet service providers.

["These contracts require the service providers to guarantee that 75 percent or more of their customers use Microsoft's browser software, crimping the opportunity for its main rival in the market, Netscape Communications. For a company with so much market power, a clause like that "shows that Microsoft really does push the limits," according to Chris Hall.

See The New York Times, Sunday, January 3, 1999, Business Section 4.

Geez, I'm mad! Wonder where I should make a complaint. Ralph Nader? :D

PS: I haven't had time to think about your post on merits of TA. Interesting subject though.
