Frank, Benladen (sp?) admitted yesterday that he funded and was behind the bombings in Africa. Clinton made the right move.

The problem is that the simplicity of a hollywood movie like Wagging the Dog, because its from Hollywood, appeals to the immature American public as more truthful than a coincidental action from the White House.

If you think about it a little further, every President after Truman has had his potential Wag the Dog episode of seemingly beefing up local support with foreign intrigue. Besides the movie was simplistic and while originally a good plot, was re-written to capitalize on Clinton's then known sexual escapades. Simple movies attract simpleton political analogies.
