IFLY/W Tony, Tony, Tony...
On the front, been a holder of IFLY/w for some time with number of shares held in excess of xx,000 at an average price of less than 1.50 on the warrants. Regardless of what may happen in the coming days, it would be safe to say my investment will remain, at worst, a double. I completely disagree with your assertion for the obvious therefore my response is somewhat defensive yet with a slant toward objectivity.
Listen, mgt. is focusing on its core business, not on what it can do for the momentum trader. Believe me, I know and so does the many. Manipulative maneuver? not a chance. In fact, if there is a major weakness in their armor, it happens to be in PR. Believe you me, I have felt the pain. These folks don't know how to and quite frankly, won't to play into the hands of the traders....yes, for me, a swingtrade gone bad, an investor I have become...now what appears to be rewards with my patience. Fundamentally, SOMETHING has changed. Because you've done such a tremendous job of DD, surely you know the bulk of their business has been established via advertising in yellow pages through 800 numbers. And with the advent of the internet, don't you think that just for a moment that this may add to their bottom line even more? Do you understand what it means to have an "interactive" agent/web site...just what does it mean to the bottom line as well? quite different from the capped commissions the pure internet airline booking companies are crying about...
Continued growth, sales, making money, indeed they are contrary to what you've "heard"...and even if they did perform some accounting magic, give me a bloody break and explain to me what company hasn't at least thought about it??
As far as IRIS is concerned, I've heard the good and bad, and the good prevails. Before you label a company a POS, I argue you to give IRIS a try, dig a little deeper, and see what what you come up with. The pricing of the tickets are perhaps the most aggressive in the industry along with one of the HIGHEST commssions paid. Not a bad combination if you ask me.
Tony, with all due respect, don't know your background, hey you might be the greatest thing next to sliced bread, but no agreement with your POS opinion.
As far as a short, I'll agree with you that this might be a fade opportunity. Just pick your entry point a little wiser than you did with your dd. JMO for those looking at IFLY as an investment
And for others, take it fwiw, play the momentum, long or short, best of luck to both of us.
