I started with a few grand, now I manage about 20 mill(Personal).. In 1997, I lost almost 80 % of all my money when I was a market maker and WS Clearing went SIPC and Bill Saydein stole all my money..I then cleared through PENSON and since they are some of the most honest people I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with,, I was able to do very well, While I lived in Texas...Now my accounts are well spread out and I fan out my trades so no one place can hurt me.
