Sounds like you have a good friend(s). I have made a few along the way, and so far they have not let me down. If fact everything I have been told has eventually happened, and “eventually” is the key word here. As you know, most of the things we see in the press have been on going for months, and between the companies involved, the attorneys, and timing, the dates can slip, and the deals can change.

Yes, it seems that Bill Samuels controls the Washington Post shares as well, as his own. So he is controlling roughly 15% of the stock. Unless I am mistaken here, Tudor is controlling close to 14% of the stock now. I have a friend at one of the larger investment firms who told me that Tudor is real aggressive, and will rock their world if he thinks things aren't moving in the right direction.

Liberty Media also has the option from the last equity deal. They still can invest another $5 million for some predetermined % of shares. Remember that Liberty has virtually given ACTV one third of the joint venture, so the next $5 million dollar equity investment has that accounted for. In other words it may appear they are getting a great deal, but I don't believe that is the case. I am also confident that Liberty Media will increase their ownership position soon. Plus the MS boy (not Bill) rumor is on going, have you also heard that?

I also have been told that January is the month that will tell the tail. I am optimistic about our short-term future, and will retire at a very early age on our long-term future.

Below is some info I dug up on company ownership. If somebody knows anything about Elliott Associates/Pual Singer, I would appreciate your impute. Perhaps I already should know, but I am drawing a blank at the moment. Of course these don't include GIC, TCI or a few others. Any other comments are welcome.
