I wouldn't be suprised at more "seed" investments to help accelerate the adoption of cable modems, digital set-tops, etc., but Microsoft has no interest in running a cable company. Have you overlooked the fact that cable companies wish to become part of the internet infrastructure and also wish to participate in e-commerce. Of course, MSFT is interested in cable companies. Its cheaper than buying a phone company. <g>
