To All,
With the advent of the new year comes much hope and anticipation for incredible things as it relates to DCI. I for one have very high expectations and believe in my heart that 1999 will bring a remarkable payoff for all DCI shareholders who can exercise patience. I include myself in that group....I am long and have loaded the truck. I would however like to relate a few cautionary comments.
* We are still on the OTC BB and the insidious trading tactics of the MM's will continue. Also, the Nasdaq small cap market may be a cut above the Bulliten Board, but believe me, there is still manipulation there and on the National Market System every day. It may be less blatant, but it still exists----- nevertheless anything is better than the BB, just don't expect it to be the magic bullet. Certainly the most preferred way would be the AMEX.
* There are several things we all expect to see happen in the first part of the new year, but ask yourself this question: How many events have occured in the time frames that many of us had come to expect? As true with most companies, virtually all transactions in the equity markets take longer than anticipated or don't happen quite as expected whether better or worse. Be it a listing, a buyout, a joint venture, an alliance, a funding or whatever, there are so many details and complexities that must be worked out, not to mention diverse personalities, that it is impossible with real accuracy to predict the who's, what's, and when's....even for management. If the fundamentals stack up, this is where patience is your true ally.
Please don't misinterpret. We have a GREAT company here. Look deep. Things are moving at an almost unbelievable rate and we should all be well rewarded if we just hang in there. Don't throw in the towel if things don't happen according to your pre-conceived schedule--because you'll shortly thereafter regret your decision. Dumping shares because of impatience at this point would be like quitting a marathon after completing 25 1/2 miles because your legs burn.
Don't be intimidated by MM manipulation and bully short seller tactics. You own shares in a real company with real management who has a focused business plan and proven ability to execute. Yes, there will be volatility and frustration, BUT SUCK IT UP AND TOUGH IT OUT and you'll look back on your fortitude with that warm glow of prosperity.
All the best for 1999! |
