A reality check on the movers of 1998 S&P500........

1. Dell Computer 248.5%
2. Apple Computer 211.9%
3. EMC Corp. 209.8%
4. Lucent Tech. 175.4%
5. Asend Comm. 168.4%
6. Cisco Systems 149.7%
7. Providian Financial 149.0%
8. Unisys 148.2%
9.Novell 141.7%
10.Gap 138.1%

Note: AAPL, UIS and NOVL are considered turnaround candidates.

Thanks to Eric Schmidt and his great team of strategist, marketers, sales and R&D folks for performing in the top 2% of the S&P500 for 1998. No small feat, as NOVL rubs shoulders with DELL, EMC, LU, ASND, and CSCO. BTW, AOL will now be joining the S&P500, but it did have one heck of a 500%+ year in 1998.

Looking forward to continued sucess in 1999!

Humbly,

QuadK
