60 Minutes had a piece on Sun Microsystem tonight, featuring their CEO Scott McNealy. He tried to portray Sun as a David taking on the Goliath Microsoft. Leslie Stahl did not delve into Sun's refusal to let other software companies tinker with Java. McNealy is trying to kill Microsoft (and Windows) so that he can make Java the next Windows and himself the next Bill Gates. It was self-serving piece. Microsoft delivers a good product and it's competitors are jealous. The trial will end with a Microsoft vindication and then McNealy will have to just try and "out-compete" them. Fez
