>>If you think Starr, Hyde,,Nixon,North,Limbaugh,Chenowith,Livingston, Coats, Helms and many many many more all are all people of principle you have some serious problems.

Not only do I not think that they are, I never even implied that I think they are.

>>I wish I could examine your self-righteous, pious life I am sure I would find something you would lie about to protect your name and family.

I'm going to ignore your insulting tone, as it's become apparent to me that you are incapable of civility, and simply say that while I would probably do everything I could to keep any uncomfortable truths from coming out I am not, nor have I ever been, a liar.

>>Bieng a recovering Catholic I know first hand of the cruelty and threats you self-righteous ones try to throw on everyone to get control of their thoughts, minds and deeds.

I applaud your efforts to escape from the clutches of what I consider to be one of the most destructive of the Christian doctrines, but it has absolutely nothing to do with me or anything I've said. Especially in the post you're responding to, which was an attempt to make the distinction between morals (which I believe should have no bearing on Clinton's future), and the law.

>>Would a Livinston lie in court to keep his family from finding out if he knew or thought he could get away with it you bet.

This may be true, but as it's merely supposition it is irrelevant.

>> Instead he gets caught in a lie...

What lie?

>>and gets a standing ovation

For telling the truth and taking his licks like a man.

>>this is a moral battle and the right is losing it.

This is not a moral battle. As I've said before, I think the Democrats keep bringing up morality so that they can then argue moral relativism. They want this battle to be fought on a field where they can claim victory simply by refusing to fight. This is and will continue to be a legal battle. If your Catholic background forces you to view it in moral terms then you have my sympathy, but as I said in the post that you responded to in the first place, I just wish everyone would stop shouting about morality because it's really not the issue.
