richard, do you have any personal experiences or contacts with the signal9 solutions and conseal firewall? do you have it on your system? also, you mentioned symantec's pc anywhere... and the need to "shut them down unless absolutely necessary". while i am somewhat familiar with pc anywhere, i'd appreciate hearing some elaboration from you if you don't mind on this program. do you consider it dangerous? do you recommend removing it from one's pc, or just keeping it turned off when not in use? tia for any added info you care to share. mark
