Only 3 guarantees in life: Death, Taxes, AMZN Volatility.

If we get some early buying support, after the "nice" correction last week, I'm planning on popping the lid.

Is this tax selling that big a deal? I'm wondering if it's a bit overblown. I had a friend who worried himself to death over a $50k capital gains tax on a home sale. If someone really was worried about their profits and the tax impact they wouldn't be playing this game. At least some of the sellers were out in force last week when it hit 361.

Any drop may be short lived if downside momentum dries up early. Then the shorts will get nervous about some surprise results and cover up. The longs are nervous, but they are looking for a big sales surprise, which they hope buries the bears once and for all.

So, I don't see any panic sell just yet. Just more volatility, just like you ordered.

Actually, it's fun to try to predict what will happen everyday, but I'm not naive enough to think I can.

So, if it's up 5 you unbox and wait for a 10 drop before reboxing depending on the news? All the while keeping an eye on Yhoo and AOL?

Ever written puts to hedge the shorts?
