snerd, Running 98. In the startup menu I see AOL, Diamond Multimedia and ATI scheduler. But in the system tray also includes Netscape instant messenger, task scheduler, sound volume and a icon to adjust video display properties. The only problem is Microsoft Works starting on the boot. The computer still runs fine except for this minor problem. Next time I will reinstall the program and remove all shared programs. There has to be a file that is read by the autoexec, config or system.ini. I will keep looking. Thanks again, Doug
