Okay, this is if others have the same problems, it may help. It appears, at least for me, that the Power Management feature is a problem, I have it turned off now. I will figure this out later. Also, I had to uninstall my ISP software and reinstall, now I'm not getting the disconnect messages or the two disconnect boxes when I try to log off the internet.
I haven't reinstalled the Win98 yet, but that is an option.
BTW, the multi monitor is a great feature, but at the moment I'm afraid to do anything with it, afraid it will do me in altogether..LOL
Stockhouse secure and nonsecure sites messages are still a bit baffling, its the only site that does this. I don't know why it goes into secure mode when I go there, as I have checked all of my security features and nothing is checked to do this. I'm going to delete my old bookmark and do a new one..who knows, maybe, could it be that simple, I doubt it...<gg>
