Sure, the Katmai chip may be out a month or two before the K7 but that won't be enough time to gain any momentum before the K7 flattens it.... 3DNOW! wasn't a total equilizer for the raw FPU power of the Pentium II. Katmai instructions won't be enough to counter the raw FPU power of the K7... All the best, Jim
