If New Zealand air traffic control works it says nothing about US air traffic control. From what I've heard Lufthansa won't fly until the situation is clear. It will be amusing if some people get out to tiny islands on the dateline for the Millenium and then can't get out of their till the next boat comes.... I imagine I'd do the same as this year. The fireworks here in Canberra at midnight are only a few blocks from where I live. Good view from the balcony in the warm summer night air.... But they have a better show in Sydney. Maybe it would be worth a trip.... David
