Hi Ausdauer, I've been in and out of this stock a couple of times, and my money is now tied up in two other companies, so I don't know if I'm really a devotee of drxr. However, I do admit to a weakness for little niche companies with their accompanying illiquid and often sleepy stock floats (a tendency I've had to fight by buying uninteresting but money-making mid and large cap stocks). In this market, at least, I've learned that little companies with little or no coverage don't recover very quickly after they've been beaten down (the School of Hard Knocks--every lesson costs more money). That aside, you've very concisely summed up the strengths and weaknesses of this company. I wish I could write half as well as you do--on second thought, maybe I do. A lot of this company's future depends on the broadness of its patents and its ability to enforce them where they may apply. Unfortunately, I don't know much about patents, patent law, or even the particular technology covered by these patents. I sense that you have a far better knowledge of these areas, so I will venture no opinion. That's basically my position on buying this stock . I like the company, but not enough to buy its stock now. Oh, by the way, did I forget to mention that I'm a great contrarian indicator? Best of luck in 1999, leslie1y2o |
