This morning Smith Barney released a report continuing their same rating on CSCC of a 3H .
The way I read the report the rating is based on the following statements.
"Frame relay switch sales which representd between 70% and 75% of revenue were one again flat sequntially. ATM switch revenue grew aggresively, but only represent 20% of revenue. "
"Most disturbing was the rise in DSO's by 23 days sequntially to 70 days."
We believe this was principally due to a slowing growth rate in Frame Relay switch sales. The transition to have ATM switch sales represent a larger percentage of sales will take time."
On that note I was a buyer this morning. But my bases was that worst case this is a transitional problem that will go away over time , when?. I don't think even SB would dispute that.
What is up for discussion is the speed at which ATM revenue growth will off set Frame Relay revenue loss. IMO.

Your reading on the analyst may be right on based on this SB report.
