Boris, I started this thread and have read all the notes. I still have had very little problems with JB Oxford. There are some on this thread that will not open an account because of the problems many years ago. In a way, I do not blame them. There was a note on this thread by a person who blasted JB. As it turned out, he was fired by JB and wanted to get back at them. The fact of the matter is, I have had relatively few problems in the 8 months with them. The only problem I had was buying a penny stock on the Vancouver Exchange. I got a 2 cent higher price than I should have. They fixed the error. Other than that, JB has been flawless. They opened the account in 3 days. I find the traders and customer service very friendly. Last week on 1\16, I wanted some money from them that was in my account and I recieved the check on 1\20. I have never rec an error message nor has the service been down. I am very satisified with their service and their $18 trades. martin
