To All: I am new to this thread, but I bought SCOR based on SSR's recommendation and have been holding it since. Hust got this in the mail - any body cares to comment on the possible effect on the stock price? Thanks in advance. Dayal Syncor <SCOR.O> wins 4-yr deal valued at $270 mln CHATSWORTH, Calif., Jan. 24 (Reuter) - Syncor International Corp on Friday said it has signed a contract with health care service provider VHA Inc that could bring as much as $270 million in sales to Syncor over its four years. The new contract calls for Syncor to supply unit-dose and bulk radiopharmaceutical drugs to VHA for distribution among the more than 1,300 health care providers VHA services. The new contract took effect Jan. 1, 1997. It supersedes a three-year contract that expired on Dec. 31, 1996 and is the largest hospital alliance deal Syncor has been awarded.
