I'm definitely looking for AAPL to develop a portal strategy -- makes all the sense in the world to leverage its fanatical user base. I'm convinced it'd be a great idea for DELL, CPQ, and other major Wintel box makers to investigate this, too; but the obvious drawback for them is MSFT's own portal ambitions. I can't see MSFT giving in easily if its box partners all began to develop radically new portal strategies. It's a tough call. But I like your general thesis that the box makers should be thinking portal.

I agree with Devil's Advocate that SEEK is unlikely, unless DIS has a complete change of heart. I'd look at XCIT as a takeout possibility.
