Another man's reasons why COST (among others) needs to go net-savvy: thestreet.com "The retail industry will be annihilated by the Net. Until a sales tax is put on Net goods, the public saves too much money using the Net. The retailers on the net, if they are shrewd and have big buying power, can live off the float -- the money that they get from the consumer before they have to pay for the goods."
