Tim,

Just trying to inject some humor into the thread with this italics business.

The 15 MB CF cards are available. I noticed that the recently released cards with the newer rainbow-colored label (versus the previous red typeface on the white background) were selling for more than older cards with comparable or even higher capacity. I don't know if this has to do with a more expensive controller or licensing fees paid (SSTI release this summer suggested that SSTI technology may be incorporated to increase write times) or whether it was intended to get the older stock off the shelves. In any case, 15 MB cards are out there although I would consider this to be a low-intermediate capacity card by today's standard.

I was in a meeting today and a co-worker pulled out his Nino PDA. I asked how he liked it. He told me it was a great tool and that it had an extra compartment for memory upgrades. He bought a SNDK 30 MB card for the device, but still hasn't used up the on-board memory. I am still a bit uncertain why one would need all that memory for average use. Perhaps as more Windows CE software becomes available the extra memory will be crucial. Later I thought to myself, why not write some mp3 shareware that is Windows CE compatible and incorporate a higher quality preamp/audio processor so that people could use their PDA's as a Walkman. I am not aware if such software is available, but it would be a great idea.
