Maybe $300 mil is not much to you but I don't think they would put out that kind of money for Cambrain without some good knowledgeable information.... after all they are one of the major players in telcom equipment... Speaks volumes to me!!!!! ability to deploy DWDM in 1999 was worth a lot of money to them.... see their press release 12-15-98-- item lifted from article.. " Cambrian Systems has been considered a player with quality technology that was simply out ahead of the marketplace by a year. 1999 should be the year in which wide-scale metro DWDM deployments in North America, Western Europe and Japan occur."
