Ben, its great to find this thread on CAV. I've been following Cavalier Homes since Anderson&Strudwick (a Virginia based brokerage house/market-maker known for good picks in the value sector) put out a BUY recommendation a couple of years ago. For one reason or another I never bought, and stopped following CAV back in May or June (trading between 16 and 18). Wow, I see some things have changed since then, trading today in the 10's! Since you are from near my old stomping grounds (grew up on 88th Street in Va. Beach in '60's and '70's), I was wondering what the current A&S recommendation is on CAV. What has changed in the last six to eight months? Are the excellent fundamentals that existed then, still exist? Does CAV still provide in-house financing to its customers? If they do still provide in-house financing, is the their loan loss to loss provisions ratio in good shape? I will be digging for the answers . . . and if all looks as good as when I used to follow it, CAV is truly a screaming BUY!
