Your experience installing DSL today using a CLEC will not be something that will last long. RBOC's (ILECs) know they need to deliver on DSL or the CableCo's will eat them alive. AT&T's purchase of TCI is a leading indicator of what's to come. If the RBOC's can't get their collective act together they will lose their franchise and Cable will be the media of choice for deliver of multiservice to the home. It's really quite simple....the RBOC's HAVE TO DELIVER.... THEY have NO CHOICE - Period! OG
