OK - I think I actually figured out something on-topic to ask.

Why do we think that NAVR will soar at the announcement of the spinoff IPO? Why won't investors simply wait for the IPO and make THAT stock soar? Do we have strong precedent for the parent company going ballistic on the news of a spinoff? And assuming that NAVR does go ballistic, at what point on the timeline does the attention of the street drift away from NAVR (causing a price drop) and begin focusing solely on the prospects of the new baby?
