Jeff,

To label FMK a spin meister is way off the mark. If there is any spinning being done look at the posts of Larry and Zeev. FMK is transparent and his motives are apparent to all. He likes the company, he is an investor, he wants the price to go through the roof, and he is defensive. The bases for his optimism are established facts, ie., insider buying, new board member, 270+ employees cranking out something. If he is getting too excited about those events that is his problem. You apparently aren't quite as excited as he is. The fact that the stock went to $11 recently based on those events only is some indication that others share his excitement. The fact that a substantial number of the posters on this thread are predicting an averaged high of $57 for the stock in 99 is more indication that many others share his optimism.

Tell me what you think are the motives of Larry and Zeev. They have invested a huge amount of time on this thread stewing over some potential "potholes" which they are very gracious to warn us about over and over again. I believe FMK has been quite gracious in engaging them although they have been less than gracious to him at times.

The fact is none of us know exactly what is ahead for Valence. Everything looks pretty encouraging right now and that is why the price is almost double what it was this summer. There is no doubt that when a contract is announced some fence sitters are going to get left in the dust and some shorts are going to have a very bad day.

Those of us are long want to enjoy this encouraging time. When others continually "rain on our parade" we do have a tendency to get defensive and even a bit angry. But, I guess we are "raining on their parade" when we continually talk about the insider buying, the escalating stock price, the production going on in NI, the relaxed financial arrangements, and the other positives that have been well established.
