Hey all!!! I missed all you guys, even Shootie. I decided to just step back and enjoy the holidays, and once I got all my deadlines filled, I shut the computer off and blocked CNBC on the TV's.
I had a great holiday and I hope you all did too. I logged on for the first time today to find that not only is PCCC up to 20 (I am in at 15) but I missed the chance to sell it at 40 last week. What a maroon.
CIEN is still down a bit, but I will not sell. I learned a valuable lesson. If I buy stocks in good companies, and they drop, (PCCC fell to under 11 after I bought at 15), don t sweat it. Walk away, forget about it and relax. Sooner or later they'll some back.
What a difference a few weeks can make. After following things pretty closely every day, it was interesting to not check ANYTHING for a few weeks. PCCC rebounded amazingly well, EGRP did what I expected (without me on board of course) and AOL went wild.
WFSG was relegated to the worthless section of my portfolio, but now may be worth something... they announced a stock buyback, and have postponed the .40 dividend for a bit and will pay 4% on the delayed dividend.
Anyway, I didn't fall off the face of the Earth, I just spent some time with my wife and kids.....
Hope we all have a great year, we should set some sort of group goal...
