Hi Alexa, After this morning, it may be a while before I can afford to go to the movies, much less a spa. Is anyone else getting pummelled? I loved "Room With a View". That was another one I made my husband watch and he hated it. Also "Rosenkrantz and Gildenstern". THe only one he's liked was "Shirley Valentine". I've warned him that this weekend I was renting "Eat,Drink" etc. I'll get some chips and beer and make it as palatable as possible. Are your children allright? Were they all sick at once? I've had my 16 home with the flu all week. He has his District Swim Meet tomorrow in Wichita Falls and says he's swimming no matter what. By this age, you just have to step back and get out of their way. THey work all year for this. Swimming is a wonderful sport, but it's lonely and takes incredible dedication to go 12 months a year with so little positive feedback. No cheerleaders. No screaming fans (well, a few parents). He's upstairs shaving all the hair off his body right now. THAT'S commitment! Why did you stop homeschooling? Do you have her in public or private now? The "teaching" I do is with a group of four 8th grade homeschoolers. I do vocabulary development, LAtin derivations, a little theatre, and I sub when the regular mom is out lecturing. Homeschooling is one of those "If I had it to do over.." things. I think it's wonderful. Did you enjoy it? I'm avoiding real life right now. Can you tell?
