Apparently Vanguard has only purchased about 50% of there position. They'll buy the rest over the next few days -- hoping for a better price than 160. They tell CNBC that they are under no legal obligation to own aol at any particular time (i.e. at the exact time that AOL trades in S&P 500). Caretaker passive fund managers need to remember that it really doesn't matter at what price they buy!! Right? Probably some big sells will precede the major buys. Just my opinion -- I could be wrong -- so it is not necessary to flame me.
