Well, I do remember the days when I spoke to a broker and usually would get a confirmation before I hung up. I also remember doing it by touch tone phone and would always confirm before I hung up (not in 30 seconds though). I have recently experienced up to a 5-10 minute lag using my computer, so at times I see not much gain in the way of timely confirmations by using a computer, but it sure is cheaper.
