I beleive both Tony and Paul are cringing a little bit today.
Celeron 400 is getting dangerously close to the Pentium II 450 in speed grade.
I repeat. ALL AMD HAS TO DO IS COME OUT WITH A K6-2-433 and 450 in the next few weeks and Intel will be back in a squeeze. They won't be able to raise the speed on the Celeron for several months. For a short while AMD will match the highest speed grade Intel has and tighten the grip.
Intel will regain the MHz lead with the Katmai-500 in Feb/March...
Meanwhile, who wants a Pentium II?
