Interactive Telesis Welcomes Quest Telcom Inc. as a Reselling Partner to its MarketREACH IVR Department
SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 22, 1998--Interactive Telesis Inc. (ITI), a leader in interactive communications (OTCBB:TSIS), today announced that Quest Telecom Inc. of Atlanta, has signed an agreement to utilize the groundbreaking automated TeleSurvey(TM) system.
TeleSurvey is the latest Interactive Voice Response (IVR) application from Interactive Telesis, designed to elevate the value of pre-paid phone cards from simple promotional giveaways to a cost-effective and cutting edge marketing tool.
Customers calling an 800 number complete a quick 5 to 7 question survey in order to activate their promotional long distance phone card. Interactive Telesis generates revenue by charging the card issuer a fee for every completed survey.
The effect of ITI's TeleSurvey will be far reaching as it allows any client company of Quest to generate low cost, real-time information data when callers enter their answers from any phone. In fact, most TeleSurvey clients will see savings of 60% and more over traditional market research methods that can take months to deliver results.
Quest was founded in 1986 and is one of the nations leading providers of outsourced wholesale telecommunications services, with one of the industry's most innovative and technically advanced prepaid phone card companies. Quest currently provides prepaid phone card services to major retailers, student bookstores, convenience stores, telecommunications resellers, interexchange and local exchange carriers and major marketing groups.
Progressive telecommunications companies like Quest and their customers know that pre-paid phone cards are effective promotional items in their corporate marketing strategies. They are not only great tools for advertising and creating goodwill, but now can generate dynamic market data allowing a company to fine -- tune sales and marketing strategies for maximum effect.
TeleSurvey introduces a powerful information capability to the pre-paid phone card industry. With thousands of phone card providers issuing literally millions of phone cards each year, the market is "target rich" for ITI's growing marketing team and industry leading reselling partners.
Sharon Jewell, product manager of Quest's promotional prepaid telephone card offering, said, "ITI's TeleSurvey gives us the opportunity to sell a unique product to new customers as well as offer our current client base a powerful marketing tool, delivering rapid survey results and enhanced IVR services."
Quest has indicated that the demand for TeleSurvey has been immediate and outstanding. In its first 30 days of offering TeleSurvey to its clients, Quest has 8 firm orders from major pharmaceutical companies wishing to utilize the service for promoting their products to doctors who can quickly generate feedback.
Interactive Telesis is in advanced discussions to provide similar value added services to a number of America's largest providers of phone cards. These companies are expected to join ITI's growing MarketREACH TeleSurvey client base, which already includes GTE and Ameritech.
Interactive Telesis continues to redefine IVR technology by designing and supporting communication solutions for North America's largest, most respected companies. Clients include AT&T, GTE Card Services, Ameritech, Yahoo! and Nike.
