TD...isn't the present tune similiar to what the Street was saying back in early Oct.? If I recall, many shareholders were concerned about the merger's impact on license revenue and earnings...while the former was somewhat disappointing, investors did wake up to the fact two weeks before earnings were released that at $15/sh., the stock was just too weak to own.

I read on a yahoo post a theory that management is trying to build its install base of OLAP technology before Plato gets shipped and then build analytical apps from there...sounds plausible, but why hasn't management conveyed this to the street?

Yes, we will see short-term volatility leading up to earnings, but as the market leader in analytical apps and Olap solutions in a market that is expected to grow 35% annually over the next 3-5 years, at today's levels, the stock is just too cheap to pass up...

just my opinion, but when everyone turns negative in a growing marketplace, it signals opportunity!
