Why? Is Mrs. Dole pro-choice? For if she is, she has no chance of getting past the RR. And if she is anti-choice, she has no chance of getting the mainstream women's votes. Actually, I like the idea of a woman trying to get the GOP nomination because it will bring the issue of abortion to a much sharper focus than if there had been only male candidates running in the primaries... Not exactly good news for the GOP!
