To All, US Mfg. capacity fell to levels not seen since the recession of 1998. As I've said before, the Fed's reckless rate cuts helped speculation and gambling, but it did nothing good for the American economy. Cutting rates, if anything, causes capacity additions. But cos. are not nuts. They are not adding capacity as their business disappears and they lay off people.
