I understand what you are saying, but if you didn't tell the 30 million dollar client to put out his cigarette, (1) I wouldn't respect you, and (2) I would probably pull out my 30 mil (assuming I had it).

I don't understand how that makes anyone psychologically bright. I have seen a private on guard duty put a colonel on his face because he wasn't on the soldier's list as Field Officer of the Day. I was a lowly lieutenant at the time and could literally see my career fly out the window. Didn't happen because the colonel knew the soldier did his job. With little experience in the 'civilian' world, I would hope that a client you are doing a credible job for wouldn't be that petty.
