Here's some comparisons between
Schwab, JPR and MBT (nasdaq)
22 trades at 1000 shares buy at 8 1/4
and sell at 8 5/16 for a 1/16 scalp.
Using schwab;
you get $52.50 schwab gets $630.00
Using JPR;
you get $840.00 JPR gets $236.25
Using MBT;
you get $390 MBT gets $460.95

Trade 2000 shares (each time)
Schwab gets $1,260....You get $105
JPR gets $236.25.....You get $2,152
MBT gets $460.95....You get $1,703.10

Trade 4000 shares (each time)
Schwab gets $2,520....You get $210
JPR gets $1,176.....You get $2,898
MBT gets $460.95....You get $4,328.10

Under 2000 shares for scalping 1/16 and 1/8 JPR wins, but
over 2000 shares per trade MBT is big winner.
