I think you are correct about the KNI support.

NSM is going to attempt to cut off AMD at the knees by supporting KNI as opposed to 3Dnow.

I think they have better license than AMD to copy the Intel patents.

I suspect the whole CPU market is getting more and more muddled as we go along in 99.
