OT--re: Silicon whatever. Ur not a wisea** at all; The best use of "silicon" are what those California girls use to "accentuate" the positive, as the great Johnny Mercer wrote before I was born. The key phrase wherever a techie chooses to slave... err... work is "STOCK OPTIONS", esp. if the co. has not yet gone public, and it doesn't matter if its in the Valley, the Alley, the Hills or somebody's garage. Our kid has heard those words bandied about after 6 mos., now he has to see the fine print and decide if he wants to stay a bit deep in the heart of Texas.
Re: unisys, I've been touting that baby for the 17 mos. I've owned it, and now I'm concerned when Merrill, the darth vader of my investing nightmares, likes it. But what the hell, they can be lucky 1 out of 10 times, and Kurlack isn't involved. UIS has great upside imo.

P.S. how's you're son doing out there in the Silicon area where the Valley girls roam? (too politically incorrect?)

Regards, Royco

P.S.S. to Sonny---Re:NXTL, meant to refer to the Bell/Airtouch poss. deal, not T, which, as I stated previously, my older son saw was a buy @38 when the Tcoma deal was hot.
