All (S) SDTI Security Dynamics provides enterprise network and data security solutions to help companies conduct business securely, protect corporate assets and facilitate electronic commerce. 9 months ended 9/98 revenues rose 25% to 124.4M. Net income rose 29% to $16.8M. Revenues reflect higher unit sales of SecurID tokens, ACE &ACM products and increased licensing. Earnings reflect a $12M gain in market value of Versign stock and the absence of $10.2M in various chargers. I beleive Versign is a company SDTI owns and the stock of VErsign went up. 52 WK high 42.75 Low 5.44 3 month daily ave vol. 1.39M 10 day avg daily vol 1.67M Float 18.80M instutions own (3months) 79.86% Qtr ends Dec first call est .12 1998 yr end est .50 yr end 1999 .68 Current PE 39.1 Closed up today 1/16 to 23 1/16 vol 220,000 today seems to be steadly increasing as the price has been going up the last few weeks Trading above 50 and 200 day MA MACD (9 day) seems positive Stoch (fast 14 day) seems to still show a buy, however the lines seem to be becoming together which could signal a sell for this indicator. Support seems to be around 20, if goes below that then 17.50 next level...Resitance around 24. My TA skills are only so/so, If anyone has anything thing to add, or thinks i have misread something, please let me know. NEWS 1/4/99----Class action suit was filed today..No information given as to why...Various other companies involved also..The PR gave a phone number to call for more information which I will do, I will also call SDTI.... DM PS i do own 300 shares of this company. However at a much higher price. Just thought everyone should know.
