AN ANXIOUS WAITING GAME?
The internet has been alive over the past few days with word of a new – well maybe not so new – Clinton scandal. Drudge had it. The same reporter who broke the story about Dick Morris and his hooker friend had it. And yesterday it shows up on the front page of The New York Post.
First … we back up a few months to the release of Kenneth Starr's report. Buried somewhere in those thousands of pages are some specific details on Clinton's DNA make-up. You know, the Presidue he left on Monica's not-so-little blue dress.
(Before you go any further .. you do realize that if Monica had sent that dress to the dry cleaner Clinton would never have been impeached, don't you?)
Well, it seems that there are some people out there who are quite interested in Clinton's DNA. They are especially interested in how that DNA will match up with a sample taken from a certain 13 year-old named Danny Williams.
Danny is the son of Bobbie Ann Williams. For several years Bobbie Ann has been claiming that Clinton is Danny's father. Clinton says he has never met Bobbie Ann. Bobbie Ann reportedly has passed a lie detector text on this issue.
Hold on. It's not quite that simple. Only a few people would be shocked to see another name added to the list of Clinton's sexual escapades. There's more.
Bobbie Ann was 24 years old when she became pregnant with Danny. At that time Clinton was the 34 year-old Governor of Arkansas.
While Clinton was earning his paycheck from the State of Arkansas Bobbie Ann was earning her living providing certain sexual favors to the men of Little Rock. Yup, she was a hooker. According to the story in The New York Post, Bobbie Ann says that she had several paid sexual encounters with Clinton --- some of the "three's company" variety.
So --- the same reporter who, as I said, broke the Dick Morris story has not obtained a DNA sample from Danny Williams. He has moved Danny and his mother into a safe house to keep them away from the media. In the meantime, the DNA sample is somewhere in the Southeastern U.S. undergoing analysis. It will be compared to Clinton's.
If the tests are positive, look for the mother of all press conferences.
One Clinton advisor told Drudge on Saturday that it wasn't Bobbi Ann's race that presented the big problem, nor was it the fact that she was a hooker. The real worry, according to Drudge, is that if test comes back positive Clinton will be labeled a "dead-beat Dad!"
This one's hard to swallow, huh?
Yeah, I agree. It's really hard to believe that a Governor of any State would go out there and have sex behind a hedge with a prostitute. But then it's even harder to believe that a President of the United States would have repeated sexual encounters with a White House intern in a hallway just off the oval office! Could Clinton be nailed with his own DNA? Hey, that one's happened too! And what about Clinton's statement that he never met Bobbie Ann Williams. Hmmm …. Let's try to visualize Clinton on national television, wagging his finger into the camera and saying "Now let me say this one more time. I never met that woman, Bobbie Ann, and I never had sexual relations with her." Who knows what Clinton's definition of "met" is, let alone his definition of sexual relations.
Sadly …. The story is all too believable, isn't it?
I GUESS WE NEED SOME NEW GOVERNMENT REGULATION HERE
This one happened somewhere in Europe. A couple was driving around in their big luxury car with its nifty little GPS moving map display on the dash. GPS --- that's Global Positioning Satellite. A sensor on the roof gets signals from satellites and processes those signals through a computer database to show a little map of where you are and how to get to where you want to be.
Well, according to the little computer map the couple was going to cross a river. So – dutifully following the map on their dashboard --- the couple drives right off the end of the road and into a 12 foot deep river. It was a ferry crossing --- but they didn't wait for the ferry. They just drove off the end of the dock and into the water. The driver said that the map didn't tell him that they were supposed to wait for a ferry, and they just assumed that there was a bridge there. So --- they just drove on. Right into the water.
Let's see now. We have a couple following a crude map drawn by someone else, by people they don't even know. They don't look out for themselves. They don't look ahead to discover any pitfalls or problems. They just drive blindly on, following the dictates of their little map.
Sounds like Democrats to me.
